It has almost been a year since I last posted on my blog and a lot has changed. I am now studying Master of Fashion Entrepreneurship, and have moved from Singapore to Australia.
I spent a year on this blog writing about my experience in the fashion industry, creating moodboards of the things that inspired me, posting pictures from the personal photoshoots I conceptualised, styled and directed as well as talked about sustainability in the fashion industry, visiting places to learn more about art and fashion and the new technologies taking over. All those blog posts are now back in my drafts, even though I was proud of them, I want to take this opportunity to start over, and create BeyondTheCity from the starting point again. Overtime, I will be reposting them again, but for now I want this to be a fresh start, as it a fresh start for me in my personal life as well.
I moved to Australia about three weeks ago and my experience so far has been nothing short of amazing. Australia is such a beautiful and multicultural country, where European architecture meet modern skyscrapers. Where you will find people, food and art from around the world living in harmony, and nature and wildlife so unique that you will not find anywhere else on this planet. I already feel so inspired here that it will not only help me with my education but also help me with this blog, and to restart it in an even better way with so much more to get inspired from.
So, this post marks the republishing of BeyondTheCity, and I hope I can be even more creative, even more vocal and even more inspired this time around.
